Currently, we are growing garlic chives, but we can also do the common chives if anyone would want us to add into our program.
Garlic chives, is a vegetable related to onion. The plant has a distinctive growth habit with strap-shaped leaves unlike either onion or garlic, and straight thin white-flowering stalks that are much taller than the leaves. The flavor is more like garlic than chives. It is rich in Vitamin A,B and C.
Commonly used as a salad and of medicinal use.
It takes 13 weeks from planting to harvesting.
