Runner beans

Runner bean is a plant in the legume or Fabaceae family. It is grown both as a food plant and an ornamental plant. The knife-shaped pods are normally green. The pods are edible whole while they are young and not yet fibrous.

It takes 12 weeks from planting to harvesting.
