Cabagge is a leafy plant grown as a vegetable crop for its dense leaved heads. The cabbage head generally ranges from 0.5 to 4 Kg and can be green, purple or white. We also have the smooth leaved red and crinkle leaved savoy cabbage. Cabbages may be prepared in many different ways of eating. They may be pickled, steamed, stewed, sautéed, braised or eaten raw. They are a good source of vitamins K nad C and dietary fiber.
